    The Director of Human Resources must be an experienced professional with knowledge of all matters relating to Human Resources, including policies and procedures, onboarding, benefits, training, employee relations, engagement, safety, and compliance with both federal and state laws.

    Job Duties

    The Director of Human Resources is responsible for the following:

    • Direct and ensure the efficient administration and management of the Human Resources function
    • Experienced with multi-state / multiple entities preferred
    • Communicate employment, education, professional development, benefits, compensation and team member and labor relations practices to our employees
    • Capable of navigating acquisitions
    • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations
    • Recruit, interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate team members
    • Manage the financial aspects of the department's budget
    • Foster a positive culture within the company to include leading by example and providing guidance and support to all management and hourly team members
    • Administer leave of absence paperwork and communication
    • Conduct investigations and ensure compliance with company policies
    • Other duties as assigned

    Job Requirements

    • 7+ years of Human Resources Management experience required
    • Experience with ADP / Paycor preferred
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • HR Certification, SPHR/PHR Certification preferred
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary

    Talent Acquisition Specialist

    Plymouth, Wisconsin

    As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll be responsible for assisting with sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding plant employees at both the Plymouth and Oostburg production facilities.

     

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    1. Responsible for assisting with sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding plant employees at both the Plymouth and Oostburg production facilities.

    2. Generate qualified candidate pool through various resources including internet, newspaper, social media, community networking, and employee referrals. Consistently research new recruitment sources.

    3. Review all applications, schedule interviews, and coordinate follow-up correspondence to all job applicants.

    4. Track status of candidates in ATS and respond with follow-up letters/emails at the end of the recruiting process.

    5. Conduct in-person interviews and provide candidates with information regarding compensation, benefits, and company culture to ensure the candidate is well informed and has the best candidate experience.

    6. Conduct third-party reference checks and employment verifications.

    7. Extend offers to potential new hires.

    8. Assemble, maintain, and complete appropriate orientation materials. Process and complete all appropriate onboarding documentation.

    9. Complete the 1-9 form, verify 1-9 documentation, and maintain 1-9 files. Perform annual 1-9 audit.

    10. Assist in coordinating the orientation of new employees.

    11 . Track evaluation results to continuously improve current orientation and onboarding processes.

    12. Maintain analytics reporting within HRIS.

    13. Assist in coordinating the internal plant job posting process and maintain all recruitment files/records.

    14. Assist with Affirmative Action Plan preparation, recordkeeping, and logging of employment applications.

    15. Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager on all Affirmative Action Plan hiring goals and diversity initiatives involving recruitment, to ensure fairness in hiring practices.

    16. Maintain and update seniority lists.

    What You Can Offer

    • Associate Degree in training , human resources, business or related field , or equivalent experience.
    • Two to three years of recruitment experience in a manufacturing setting. Experience with high volume recruitment is preferred.
    • Ability to write clear understandable reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals for all levels of the organization.
    • Proficient with social media platforms, Applicant Tracking Software, and Microsoft Office products.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from various levels of employees.
    • Demonstrate decision-making skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong follow-through ability to meet time commitments.
    • Requires a high level of confidentiality.
    • Requires excellent interpersonal skills to frequently deal with employees and management.
