    How to influence without direct authority. Our speaker will discuss how to make first impressions, the positive definitions of power, influence and politics, understanding the difference between ethically influencing and manipulation and understanding the fundamentals of persuasion. 

    The goal of the program will be to improve your competence and your confidence in understanding and practicing the art and science of persuasion and influence. 

    Here is a little info about our speaker-Chris Hinrichs.

    Chris served as adjunct faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Business-Executive Education for 30 years. He designs and delivers professional development programs in the field of human relations, such as: Transformational Leadership, How to Influence Without Formal Authority, Managing Conflict Constructively, Team Effectiveness and Negotiation Skills. 

    Chris is consistently ranked as a top tier presenter and educator.
    In addition to his university programs, Chris has conducted programs for such diverse clients as Yale School of Management, Honeywell Corp., Pillsbury Corp., Minnesota Vikings Football, Harley-Davidson, Buick Motor Division, Brunswick Corp., Federal Bureau of Investigation, Subaru of America and Dupont Corp.. and others. He is a Government Service Award contract holder.

    Chris is a nationally respected expert and presenter in his field. He connects quickly with his audiences and is guaranteed to deliver relevant content with memorable authenticity. Over the past 20 years, 99.4 % of his participants have said that he met or exceeded their expectations.

    Chris is a former Adult Corporate Enrichment Program designer and director for Outward Bound Schools in both the Midwest and Eastern United States.

    He holds a Master’s degree in Adult Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with an emphasis in Organizational Behavior and Counseling Psychology.

    Breakfast will include: scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, assorted Kringle (Danish), fresh fruit, bagels, and coffee, juice and water.

    Cancellation Policy:  Registrants may cancel and receive a full refund up to two (2) working days before the program.  Cancellations within the two (2)-day period will be charged if the Chapter is charged for the meal.  No-shows will be charged the full rate.
