Chapter Services

    Monthly Continuing Education Programs/Meetings - The Board of Directors, under the guidance of the Program Committee, coordinates meeting and speaker activities relative to applicable and timely subject content. Breakfast monthly meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month beginning in September and concluding in June.

    Networking opportunities and Social Events - Some of the best time is spent with others from inside of our profession. Being able to talk in a social/comfortable setting is priceless. Building contact relationships prove to be invaluable. 

    Study Group for Certification - The Professional Development Committee strives to increase the number of PHR/SPHR and SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP Certifications amongst our Members and non-members by offering Study Groups each year.  For more information, contact Phyllis Felsinger,  or Jenna Dernluc,, our 2020 Development Director Co-Chairs..

    SA-SHRM Mentor Program- New to the HR profession or getting back and would benefit from a mentor resource? Are you near the end of your career or feel comfortable being a support person to someone new to the profession? WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU!! The mentor program through SA SHRM is designed to encourage a relationship between more experienced members (Mentors) to help and guide the less experienced and knowledgeable members (Mentee) and to learn from each other. We believe the impact of the individual mentees learning from mentors in a one–on–one relationship will build trust and respect.
